Alita Teitz

Alita received her Ph.D. from the Institute of Earth Sciences, Hebrew University (Jerusalem) and has published numerous papers on the geology of the solar system. Prior to joining the Galahad 2 mission, she worked as a research scientist at the Lunar and Planetary Institute and served as a principal investigator on several Mars rover missions. As Lead Planetary Geologist at Pendragon Station, Alita will be responsible for studying the geology and geochemistry of Jezero Crater and searching for evidence of past water on Mars.
