Merav Gold

Merav is a renowned planetary scientist with expertise in oceanography, geology, and astrobiology. She received her Ph.D. in Earth and Planetary Sciences from the Technion (Israel) and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford. Before joining the Galahad 2 mission, she worked as a research scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and led several field expeditions to northern Canada and to Antarctica to prepare to study the geology of Mars and other planets. As Chief of Scientific Operations at Pendragon Station, she will lead the scientific research and exploration efforts at Jezero Crater and help to advance our understanding of the Red Planet.
